Check out the preview and CM for Arashi’s upcoming live DVD ”ARASHI LIVE TOUR Beautiful World”

Last month, Arashi revealed the jacket covers and details of their upcoming live DVD ‘ARASHI LIVE TOUR Beautiful World‘, and now a CM for the DVD has been released by J-storm. The DVD will be released on May 23rd.

This live DVD covers their 2-day concert at National Olympic stadium on September 3-4. Although the live concert started in bad weather and the members were unable to have enough rehearsals on stage due to a typhoon, Arashi livened up over 140,000 fans with their performance over the two days.

The most exciting part of the concert was when 1,300 fireworks were set off. The morning news program ‘ZIP!‘ revealed the scene, so check it out below!

BIGBANG to perform at Tokyo Dome + release new album

Korean boy band BIGBANG has revealed that they will be performing at Tokyo Dome for the very first time on December 5th!

The performance will be the final stop of their Japanese tour, which begins on the 17th at Nagoya’sNihon Gaishi Hall. The tour had originally been planned for thirteen stops in five different cities across Japan for a total of 150,000 tickets, but applications for tickets were much higher than expected. The tickets sold out three minutes after going on sale, resulting in the addition of several new venues, including the group’s first visit to Tokyo Dome and a November 23rd performance at the Kyocera Domein Osaka.

To celebrate the start of their Japan tour, BIGBANG will be releasing a ‘new’ album titled “ALIVE -MONSTER EDITION-” on June 20th. The album will contain the tracks from their latest album “ALIVE” in addition to three new songs, “MONSTER“, “Still Alive“, and “Bingle Bingle” for a total of 12 tracks.

Morning Musume announces 50th single, “One Two Three / The Matenrou Show”!

Hello! Project has just updated their official discography page with a page for Morning Musume’s 50th single!

According to the website, the double A-side single is titled “One Two Three / The Matenrou Show”and will be released on July 4th in a whopping seven editions: Limited Edition A (CD+DVD), Limited Edition B (CD-only), Limited Edition C (CD+DVD), Limited Edition D (CD-only), Limited Edition E (CD+DVD), Limited Edition F (CD-only), and a regular edition (CD-only). Each of the limited edition DVDs will contain music videos and an application for an event, while the limited edition versions not containing a DVD will simply include the event application.

The track list, covers, and concept pictures have yet to be released, so keep checking tokyohive for more information on “One Two Three / The Matenrou Show”!

Jacket covers for Kanjani8’s upcoming single “Ai Deshita.” revealed

Kanjani8 just revealed jacket covers for their new single “Ai Deshita“, which will be released on June 13th. “Ai Deshita” will also be the theme song for Nishikido Ryo’s TBS drama ‘Papadol!‘.

The single will be available in two versions. The limited edition has the title track, a coupling song “Midare Sake Romance“, and a DVD. The regular edition includes two songs on top of the title track and “Midare Sake Romance”.

A picture of ZE:A‘s Kwanghee eating his breakfast at an airport has been getting a reaction from fans.

The staff of SBS‘ ‘Laws of the Jungle 2‘ recently shared a picture of the star, who was eating pizza as breakfast as he squat in the middle of an airport. Fans also noticed that Kwanghee did not seem to care about possible stares from strangers despite being an idol.

Apparently, before Kwanghee left to the tundra for filming, he told his manager that the food he craves the most is pizza. His manager then fulfilled his wish by providing him pizza for breakfast.

Fans commented, “Even his eating is done in variety show style,” “He’s going all the way to the tundra for filming,” and “It is so cute how he is just himself and not fake.”

After Kwanghee makes his third adventure into the jungle, he will start preparing for ZE:A’s comeback when he returns to South Korea in June.

SM Entertainment artists head to LA for “SMTOWN Live World Tour III”

SM Entertainment artists Super Junior, SHINee, Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, EXO, and f(x) were recently spotted at the renowned Incheon International Airport as they departed Korea to Los Angeles, California.

The SM artists are heading to Los Angeles for their “SMTOWN Live World Tour III“ concert on May 20th at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The day after this concert, Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, and Super Junior will be heading to Mountain View, California for MBC’s ‘Korean Music Wave in Google’ concert.

B1A4 release Gongchan teaser for repackaged 'IGNITION' album

The ‘IGNITION‘ repackaged album teasers for B1A4‘s Gongchan have been released.

B1A4′s homepage was updated with a photo of a smartphone with links to video call teasers and images of each of the group’s members.

PV Teaser for After School's upcoming Japanese single "Lady Luck" revealed

After School (AFTERSCHOOL) will be releasing their 4th Japanese single, “Lady Luck / Dilly Dally” on June 13th.

It’s a double A-side single meaning that both “Lady Luck” and “Dilly Dally” will be title tracks. “Lady Luck” is a ‘kira kira girly’ song and is the theme song to the “Samantha Thavasa ALL STARS” commercial. A teaser for the “Lady Luck” PV (Music Video) recently aired in Korea, showing a bit of their choreography.

As the song is tied in with Samantha Thavasa, it seems some of the choreography will incorporate the ladies using a Samatha Thavasa handbag.

Actor Llee Jong Suk to join 'Inkigayo' as new MC

It has been revealed that actor Lee Jong Suk will be joining KARA‘s Nicole and Hara as the new emcee for SBS‘s ‘Inkigayo‘.

On May 18th, a representative of ‘Inkigayo’ stated, “IU will be absent for due to her concert beginning in early June. Therefore, we have recruited actor Lee Jong Suk to join Nicole and Hara starting on June 3rd. Lee Jong Suk will continue as a MC even when IU returns as MC once she concludes her concert.”

Lee Jong Suk, who gained much popularity for his role on MBC sitcom ‘High Kick 3‘, will be making his emcee debut through ‘Inkigayo’. It is said that he will also be putting on a special performance on ‘Inkigayo’ in celebration of his debut as host.

The rep continued, “Although Lee Jong suk is an actor, we believe his image as a rising young star will suit ‘Inkigayo’ well. He has a lot of interest in music and thus has been decided on for the MC lineup.”

Kim Hyun Jun releases OST track for 'l Love You'

Kim Hyung Jun has unveiled a track for his drama ’I Love you‘s OST!

On May 18th, the singer left a link to his OST on his Twitter for his followers. The YouTube clip he linked to shows the behind the scenes footage of the drama, ‘I Love You’ while the singer’s OST track plays in the background.

“Even the words, I Love You” is a soft melodramatic song which blends in very well with the drama’s overall love story.

K-Pop stars's Baek Ah Yeon receives numerous love from agencies

The SBS-produced audition program ‘K-Pop Star‘ chose its first superstar Park Ji Min just last month. While Park’s place in either of the three agencies is without a doubt guaranteed, it seems like love calls from various agencies are coming in and about for the other contestants as well.

Out of the various aspiring singers that once participated in the show, Baek Ah Yeon in particular is reportedly receiving much interest from various agencies to debut under their respective label. One insider, who has worked producing the show, stated, “There are a lot of agencies who have been calling the ‘K-Pop Star’ production team to ask about Baek Ah Yeon.”

“They see much potential for Baek Ah Yeon for when she debuts as a singer,” says another insider, “Her pure and clear voice along with her innocent, yet sexy charisma on ‘K-Pop Star’ are expected to appeal to fans… They believe that with training, she’ll fit as a soloist or even a member of a girl group.”

Despite the fierce competition between highly talented singers, contestant Son Seung Yeon was able to walk away as the crowned winner of Mnet‘s ‘Voice Korea‘.

The show drew in much attention as the hopefuls continued to amaze with their vocal talent, and to thank viewers for the support, the top 4 finalist Song Seung Yeon, Yoo Sung Eun, Woo Hae Mi, and Ji Sae Hee have come together to record a new single, “Stand Up For You“.

With this new song, the girls express their gratitude towards their supporters and fans, stirring the hearts of the viewers with their voices once more.

miss A's Suzy reveals her father on 'invicible youth 2'

On May 18th, KBS ‘Invincible Youth 2‘ revealed a picture of miss A‘s Suzy and her dad filming for the show.

Suzy and the rest of the G6 members had their first harvest of the lettuce that they grew themselves and to celebrate, the members invited their families and close friends for a samgyupsal party.

Suzy’s guest was her dad, who traveled all the way from Gwangju in the early morning to Daebu Island to see his daughter. She ran to her father and embraced him right as he came out and could not hide her joy at seeing him.

The two showed a lovable father-daughter relationship throughout the filming. She linked arms with her dad and gave him a tour of the whole set and her dad could not help but smile as he looked at his daughter.

Even when they were off the camera, the two continued to hold hands and shared an enjoyable time bonding. A staff member commented on the two’s relationship saying, “Suzy becomes a baby when she’s with her dad. Even I started to feel good after seeing Suzy being so happy while spending time with him.”

Super Junior's Leeteuk and Yesung have a habit sitting next to one another on plane riders?

Super Junior‘s Yesung and Leeteuk seems to be inseparable when it comes to picking seats in the plane. Many fans already know the tendency that the two have of sitting side by side on plane rides, and Leeteuk’s latest tweet is another proof shot of this undying bond.

On May 18th, Leeteuk uploaded two shots before takeoff and tweeted, “We will come back safely from the U.S.!!!!^^ We will work extremely hard even in the U.S. and come back after an awesome concert!!!!”

Moments later, Leeteuk uploaded a photo that captured Leeteuk’s landing from city daily and tweeted, “We have arrived in America!!!!^^ As soon as we arrived, there were loads of articles on us. I feel more happy after seeing them~^^ I wore American pants since I’m going to the U.S. keke Leeteuk’s tricky fashion~^^ kekeke protect Korea while we are gone!!!”

Fans responded, “Yesung always sits beside Leeteuk“, “Return safely“, and “I bought tickets, I’ll see you at the concert!”
